Aloha! I’m Kaila! Let’s get to know each other, shall we?!

I am from the sunny, sometimes rainy—it’s Florida, so we never know here!—shores of Atlantic Beach, Florida. Water is my element and the horse is my spirit animal. I have lived in Southern California and explored many locales from Alaska to South America, and am currently local to my home town once again. Adventure and creativity are engrained in my soul!

For the past 27 years, art has been my expressive release. I have delved into various mediums to express my artistic vision. Currently, my passion and primary discipline lies in relief printing, where the art of carving ignites my creative essence like nothing else—however, I recently completed a mixed medium painting which has me curious to explore that craft once again!

I draw inspiration, strength, clarity and a whole lot of other things from the sea, island botanicals and the strength and grace of femininity. These elements seem to weave seamlessly into my work, infusing it with a unique blend of beauty, simplicity, soul and empowerment.

As an artist, mother, wife, sister, and friend, the hope for my artistry is to transcend boundaries, resonate with those who appreciate the intricacies of nature, the sea and the human spirit like me. My journey—marked by a deep connection to my surroundings and a profound love for creation—continues to unfold with each masterpiece I bring to life.

It is my honor to share the way I see the world with those souls just like mine. My hopes are that my art can help you tell your soul story—adorn your walls and your home will tell the story of you!
